You found your way to a website run by rabbis in the Himalayas, offering the wisdom of the Torah to the people of India. Here is what that means — and what it doesn't.
We are not missionaries, and we do not convert anyone. Judaism does not seek converts. You are not being asked to change your religion, leave your family, adopt new rituals of another community, or take on a new identity. There is no baptism, no ceremony, no membership fee.
We are not a guru movement. No human being here is worshipped, and no teacher stands between you and God. The Torah's first message is that every person can speak to the Creator directly.
We are not against India. We love this land, live in it, and honor the sincerity of its seekers. We believe India's thousands of years of spiritual searching are preparation for something true and simple.
The Torah — the teaching God gave the Jewish people at Mount Sinai over 3,300 years ago — contains a message not only for Jews but for all of humanity. It teaches that God made one covenant with every human being: seven universal laws, given to Noah after the flood and renewed at Sinai. One who lives by them is called, in the Torah's language, a Ben Noach or Bat Noach — a child of Noah — and has a full share in the World to Come and in the coming era of world peace.
We call this path DharmaTorah because "dharma" is the closest word in India's languages to what the Torah means: not "religion" but the true order of life — the obligation that flows from who you really are. The Torah's claim is simple and enormous: the eternal dharma of every human being is the covenant of the Seven Laws, given by the one Creator of all.

Begin one practice. Tonight, before you sleep, speak to the Creator in your own words — in English, Hindi, or any language. No statue, no picture, no intermediary. Just you and the One who made you. That is the oldest meditation in the world, and it is where the whole path begins.
Do I have to leave Hinduism / my community?
The Noahide covenant is not a community you join — it is a truth you live. It asks one great thing: to serve only the one infinite Creator, and no image, form, or intermediary. What that means in your life is a journey, and we will walk it with you honestly, step by step, with deep respect for your family and your culture.
Why would Jews teach non-Jews?
Because we were commanded to. The prophets of Israel promised a day when "the earth shall be full of the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea" (Isaiah 11:9). The Lubavitcher Rebbe taught that sharing the Seven Laws with all nations is the Jewish people's direct responsibility and the world's preparation for that day.
